 Eligibility for Admission

• A candidate for admission to the Four Year Degree course in Technology must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognised by the Osmania University as equivalent thereto.
• All the eligible applicants will have to pass the Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view of the rules in force regarding the reservation of seats to various categories of candidates.

 PG Programmes 

   Eligibility for Admission

• Candidates B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) degree or any degree recognized by the University as equivalent to it are eligible for admission.
• Admission to all M.Tech. courses will be on the basis of the percentile score obtained at the GATE examination. If sufficient number of candidates with GATE qualification not available for admission, candidates who have not passed the GATE examination will also be considered for admission against the remaining seats on the basis of their performance at the entrance test (TGPGECET) conducted by the Government of Telangana.
• Those candidates who have secured at least 55% marks or a grade point average of 2.4 out of 4 in B.Tech (Chem. Engg) degree are only eligible to write the entrance test.
• Candidates who have appeared for B.Tech. Final examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply for admission.
• Two supernumerary seats are available to the candidates sponsored by the Teaching/Research/Industrial establishments situated under the jurisdiction of Osmania University. They should posses two years experience and also pass GATE examination or the entrance test conducted by the Government of T.G. to be considered for admission to the M.Tech course.
